Product Manager – International eCommerce

This role provides a rare opportunity for a young professional to gain cross functional exposure in a fast-growing organization. A product manager would gain 360-degree view of business, from identifying a potential product/market opportunity through market data analysis, evaluating the market, conceptualizing and developing product for the market, and launching the product successfully.  Our products cut across consumer categories such as sports, electronics, home and kitchen, office, toys etc, and our targeted at international e-commerce markets – US, UK, EU.

Roles and responsibilities include

  • Market analysis: Analyze market data such as demand, competition, profit margins etc, to identify potential segments to launch products
  • Product development: Identify specifications of our product, based on deep understanding of customer preferences
  • Product management: Track and oversee pricing, profitability, marketing, advertising

​Candidate profile: An ‘A’ player, no less, with

  • Engineers from Tier 1 schools preferred. Post graduate degree NOT required
  • Experience: 0-3 years. Prior experience in this function not necessary
  • Strong quantitative, analytical abilities, extreme comfort with data analysis/interpretation
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A ‘Hustler’, who can get things done, with little or no supervision
  • Driven and motivated. Quick learner. Emotional intelligence and maturity beyond years, to work across stake holders within and outside the organization

Manager – International vendors and logistics

This role provides a unique opportunity to manage an end to end global supply chain (China, US, EU), from placing an order with an international supplier, through international delivery, returns and reverse logistics

  • Manage entire order life cycle, with global suppliers, from purchase order to suppliers through delivery at our US warehouse
  • Track and monitor daily status of orders in production and in sea-transit, to ensure smooth transit of products from factory to destination warehouse
  • Track and manage inventory across the supply chain
  • Negotiate with suppliers: Negotiate win-win pricing and payment terms with global suppliers and logistics partners
  • Negotiate with logistics partners: Negotiate and optimize logistics cost across supply chain – sea, air, ground transport, warehousing
  • Manage inspection and quality control of orders

Candidate profile: An ‘A’ player, no less, with

  • Engineers preferred, though not mandatory. Post graduate degree NOT required
  • Experience: 3-7 years. Supply chain experience in vendor management and logistics is preferred, though not mandatory
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong quantitative, analytical abilities
  • A ‘Hustler’, who can get things done, with little or no supervision
  • Driven and motivated. Quick learner. Emotional intelligence and maturity beyond years, to work across stake holders within and outside the organization
